Icelandic Horses tend to be mutton-withered, and their back conformation can range from A-frame to wide barrel, with a spine that is either an "out-y" or an "in-y", as well as being short-backed, or even sometimes long-backed.
With so much diversity, treed saddles, particularly the "icelandic" saddles being quite narrow, are hard to fit the horses
